The caves in Valdeorras are used for winemaking. They have a chimney called “refugallo” that allows air circulation and keeps the temperature constant throughout the year.
Here we can see our cave made several centuries ago in iron clay based on the other two characteristic elements of Valdeorras granite and slate.
